How to Spend a Day in Camden, NJ

Take the first ferry of the day out of Philadelphia and ride over to Camden. Once you arrive, take a stroll along the waterfront and enjoy views of the Delaware River.

Grab a bite to eat from Bainโ€™s Deli. Select from a variety of breakfast items, hot sandwiches, wraps, bagels, and more.

Located next door to Bainโ€™s you can find the Adventure Aquarium, one of the top rated aquariums in the Northeast. Discover unique exhibits around every turn as you explore the underwater world with over 15,000 aquatic animals. Youโ€™ll experience exciting attractions, like the Shark Bridge, Shark Tunnel, and touch tanks.

Take a walk through the Camden Children’s Garden, located just a few blocks from the Ferry Landing. The garden features interactive exhibits, rides, and educational programs for children of all ages.

Before heading back to the landing to catch the last ferry of the day, stroll over to the Walt Whitman House to see the home of the famed American Poet.
